Bendigo Braves​ 90

After trailing by 3 with as little as 4 minutes on the clock, the Blues eventually succumbed 90-78 to the Bendigo Braves on Saturday night. It was a familiar tale for the Blues: battle hard and compete for a majority of the game against a quality opposition, but a 3-4 minute lapse proved deadly. It was also a familiar tale on the glass, with the Blues smacked 47-28. The Braves’ Tony Lewis particularly impressive with 16 rebounds.

Eric Williams had 20 points and 8 rebounds and Matt Turner continued his solid late season form with 18 points and 6 rebounds. Jack Gaze added 10 points and 5 rebounds while Jake MacAuley added 11 points for the #HouseofBlues

The Blues will now look to finish their season with a couple of solid wins on their road trip to Tasmania to take on conference rivals Hobart and North West Tasmania #BlueCrew
